    TV/Movie adaptations of Video Games

What's been done well? What's been done poorly? What unreleased projects are making you excited or nervous?

I think the high water marks right now are Fallout and The Last Of Us. Both nail the tone of their respective source materials.

Witcher started strong but is definitely struggling. Haven't seen Halo or Twisted Metal yet.

I am nervously looking forward to the God Of War, Horizon, and Mass Effect adaptations, if they ever come to fruition. Mass Effect especially. So much potential.

Good call, for all the backlash over Chris Pratt being Chris Pratt, the movie itself was solid. Same goes for the Sonic movies actually.

I liked the latest Sonic CG-animated series, Sonic Prime. Rather than adapting the story of any one game, the writers were allowed to just do whatever they wanted with the characters and it's a pretty decent alternate-reality-hopping story with good animation and humor.

Fallout was a fun surprise with how good it is. We finally got around to watching The Last of Us a couple months ago and that was great too.

I've still yet to see any of the Sonic movies. The Mario movie is good, but I paused halfway through. Need to get back to it.
